Apologetics: UK is the UK branch of Apologetics.com - a non-profit organisation based in the United States. Apologetics: UK is comprised of undergraduate and postgraduate students from Oxford University with a collective 20 years of experience in Christian apologetics. On this site, you can get to know the staff, read their blogs, see upcoming events, and more.
The mission of Apologetics.com is: "Challenging believers to think and thinkers to believe". We believe that Christian apologetics is not only a defence of the faith directed at non-Christians, but also a strengthening of the faith for those within the Church. In the tradition of other Oxford alumni such as Dorothy Sayers, C. S. Lewis, Alister McGrath, and Os Guinness, we believe that our intensely personal faith is also inescapably and compellingly public.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said that the greatest commandment is to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" (Mt 22.37) - we take very seriously the role of the Christian mind in the life of the church.
