Michael Baldwin
Michael Baldwin is a 2nd year student at Oxford University studying for a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He had the amazing privilege of growing up in Turkey before moving to London aged 9. He is passionate about doing philosophy biblically as well as constructing a Christian worldview which encompasses politics, morality and economics. He hopes to live in the Middle East in the long-term, but in the meantime he runs Captivating Every Thought, a blog aiming to "take captive every thought for Christ". His favourite hobby is attempting to play the guitar and sing!
Claire Brown
Claire Brown is a 3rd year Biological Sciences student at Oxford University. She is originally from a small town near Worcester; however, Oxford is definitely her home now. Her long term plans are currently unknown, but she has a heart for coming alongside people, helping to encourage and equip them at whatever stage of their walk with the Lord they are. Studying Biology (especially the evolution and behaviour modules) and listening to other peoples’ questions about Christianity have given her a passion for apologetics. Also, by seeing the fruit after apologetic teaching, in both her own life and in others around her, they have shown her the need for logical and clear answers. Claire is always up for a challenge and loves trying out new things; she is an active person and enjoys netball, jogging and rock climbing.
Calum Miller
Calum Miller is currently a Final Honours School student at the University of Oxford. He is studying for a BA in Medical Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience, before starting the BM BCh programme in September 2012. Though hoping to work in neurology or psychiatry, he has always been a theologian and philosopher at heart and is active in science and religion discussions, currently book reviewing for Science and Christian Belief. He has also blogged in defence of Christianity for Oxford Atheists, Secularists and Humanists, and he runs Dove Theology, a website dedicated to apologetics resources. Calum is particularly keen to reignite the Church in Britain’s passion for apologetics and theology, and is currently preparing for upcoming debates with leading atheist academics.
Aside from academics, Calum is into playing and producing music (rap and contemporary worship), playing a few instruments and pretending to be able to play a few more. He also keeps a keen interest in sports, particularly soccer/football, and tries to keep up youth work with summer camps. When not at university, Calum lives in Croydon, London.
